Hi forum

Does anyone know what the resistance pads are made out of for modern spin bikes.
A friend recently mentioned to me that they used to be made from asbestos , but i cant believe that would still be used ?

Bought the bike 3 years ago in the uk. Body Sculpture spin bike.
