1. Simply to check out the myths and bs that people are putting out there regarding body re composition and see what they are trying to con people into believing.
2.Because people have to be out there correcting all the bs that is being spread about body re composition and holding people accountable for the bs.
3. Determination is easy when you know the truth. Science backs up the truth. 95% of the people posting have no obvious real world experience teaching or practicing the ridiculous claims they make. Otherwise they would know that what they espouse doesn’t work for 99% of the population.
4. Exercise and Nutritional science. That’s all there is, no matter what you want to do. You just have to vary the type and amount of exercise and nutritional counselling to meet the needs of the particular individual your working with.
5. The ones that don’t meet a basic scientific standard of truth. Usually weight loss and muscle building…
6. These forums don’t help me at all as a Fitness Consultant but do help keep the nose to the grindstone in a lifetime passion of dispelling the myths, and actually sensibly and safely helping people of all ages, shapes and sizes reach their body composition goals.
It’s ok for people to have opinions but everything should be prefessed with the fact that 99% of people posting here and on most of these on line sites have no experience of working with and helping people meet their goals on a daily basis. Advice is best received from people working in the industry with good reputations as honest and appropriate exercise and nutritional program designers. ONLY these people can and will achieve life long, habit forming, weight controlling programs and lifestyles for you…
