    Best Workout Routine For General Weight Loss?

    I’m 5’7and weigh in at 166lbs despite having an apparent BMI of 26% (I don’t buy it, but who knows.) Now, I have a good amount of the jiggly stuff to lose, but I’m down 36lbs since early October and am not in bad shape at all. I have always been active, but haven’t eaten well in the past. I try to fit in a workout routine every day, but I’m lost as to what the best routine is for general weight loss? I’m not looking to bulk up muscle too much, but I’d like to drop another 20lbs of fat before I leave for a 271-mile hike this summer (I’m experienced with such things, and I’m looking forward to having even more slimming over the course of that month.) I’ve been trying different weekly splits and general daily routines but I’d love some suggestions. My goal is 2 pounds down per week and I already keep carbs to a minimum and eat mostly lean meats, fish, fibrous vegetables, and the occasional piece of fruit. I’ve slimmed to 8% body fat in the past, and I am fit enough to go hiking several times a week while maintaining a workout routine, so bring on the “tough” suggestions! Thanks!
