How to rest in the off season and still commute by bike?
Following year I wish to take on a few brand-new events and I do not intend to burn myself out in the off season. These are not races and I don’t aim to train as if they are. I intend on beginning any sort of “authorities” training in March. This year I did a solitary century and a double century (2 day). Following year I wanna do a minimum of 2 centuries and two increases (perhaps one in 1 day, the Seattle to Portland event).
The trouble for me with relaxing in the off season is I have an outstanding 11mi commute to and from job that I desire to continuously do 4 days a week throughout the winter months. A whole lot of just what I have actually reviewed about off season healing plans has to do with not truly using much or you threat being burnt out by May/June.
Any person have any type of suggestions on the best ways to stabilize a correct resting off season with ~ 85mi of commuting a week? Am I doomed to steer to work for 3 months? If to ensure that would certainly make me very unfortunate.
