  1. Eric Mark Levine CA Wow…Overcoming Stress Through Meditation

Chores, homework, work tasks, checklists, groceries, children, parents, friends, and drama. Did that just give you a big headache just thinking about it? It sure did for me. Our daily lives are filled with stressful activities that take a lot of energy and focus. Although it’s nice to have something to do for the day, and most people don’t know what to do of their day without those activities, it’s very important to sit an replenish. Have you ever experienced that small burn out moment where you just want to sit down and do absolutely nothing all day? I call those days run outs, when your battery has used all the stress it can handle and just needs to take the day off. What is dangerous is that your body can get into a comfort zone and therefore go through the same motion every week, which is not good for your health. Just like that run out day, meditation can bring calmness and help in overcoming stress. Instead of using 24 hours to relax, meditation helps you relax little by little everyday. It brings peace and calmness to your body even if it’s just for twenty minutes. Since it’s not a full day run out, it also helps you stay on track and release long term stress from running behind on daily errands. By practicing the breathe-in, breathe-out technique everyday, your brain learns to release the tension by breathing out, and to inhale positive energy by breathing in.
Make sure to stay healthy and to add meditation to your daily routine, this will help in the long term from burning out and from running behind on tasks.
    Good luck!
