A detox diet meal plan needs some specific foods to eat in order for it to be effective. Here are some samples of meals you should follow. Always start the day with a healthy breakfast. Eating melons is a healthy idea. Any melon variety is good. And the best thing is you can eat all you want. You can also throw in some fresh fruits. You can also mix the fruits and eat as much as you can to get sufficient calories.

For your lunch, eat plenty of bananas, mangoes, and pears. Bananas are rich in fiber which is good for detoxification. Then add some vegetables like celery sticks, apricots, and a head of lettuce. Eating vegetables gives variety in your diet and added nutrients that fruits lack. Make a large glass of freshly squeezed carrot juice as your drink.

As for your dinner, prepare a large rainbow salad. Your salad should contain grated carrots, red cabbage, grated beetroots, cucumber, chopped red and green bell peppers and celery. Now what’s a salad without dressing? You can make your detox salad dressing. Put a couple of tomatoes and a large peeled avocado in a blender then add a teaspoon of olive oil. Blend all ingredients and mix it with your salad.

Top it off with some nuts like almonds, and cashew and some lettuce.

Don’t forget to drink plenty of water for it is important to include this habit in your detox diet meal plan. Losing weight is just a bonus but the real catch here is to free your body of toxins.
